Absences & Being Sent Home
ABSENCES

Any emails regarding abscences should be directed to Nurse DeJong @ jdejong@glenridge.org
When you call to report your child’s absence please state your child’s name, grade and specific reason for their absence.
Upon returning to school kindly send in a note explaining the reason for his/her absence.
STUDENTS BEING SENT HOME.
ANY CALL TO A PARENT REGARDING ILLNESS MUST BE MADE FROM THE HEALTH OFFICE. USE OF CELL PHONES ARE AGAINST SCHOOL POLICY AND WILL RESULT IN DISCIPLINARY ACTION. PLEASE DISCUSS THIS WITH YOUR CHILD.
Please keep all emergency contact information up to date so we will be able to contact you if your child needs to be picked up. Only those on the emergency contact list will be allowed to pick your child up unless a parent gives us verbal permission. If any of your contact information changes during the school year, be sure to inform the nurse.
Parents will be notified when their child needs to be picked up. If they are not available the emergency contact person will be called.
You must come inside to sign out and pick up your child.
