Excuse from PE Class

Occasionally , a student may need to be excused from participating in class due to an injury or a medical reason. A note from a parent is required to excuse a student from PE class for 1-2 days. If an injury requires a student to be excused from participating in PE class for more than 2 days a doctor’s note is required.

Any student who is excused from PE class for medical/injury reasons is not permitted to participate in recess activities but may go outside to be with friends. He may resume sporting activities after he has resumed PE with a doctor’s clearance note.
